Default Anyone have harness experience with Techrods

Has anyone heard of a place called Techrods in Texas (eBay sellor) and have experience with the harnesses they sell for conversions?

They look good, just a little nervous.

The price looks about right. I think many others are way overpriced.

They are cheap because it is a bare bones basic engine management harness.
Most of the places that charge more also include some of the stuff that they have as optional. Once you add on the auto trans, fans, and A/C controls, the price gets higher than some of the companies that have been around for a while.

as said above, call and talk to the guy. i thought about going that route, and i talked to him for a while. you need to verify what all you will need to have added to the base harness, and what the total price will be. he's about in line with the other places i think once you get everything you need. sounded like he knew his stuff, and i was going to get one of his, but i just felt like doing it myself in the end. can't find his number now, but he answered emails after a few days. i was about to give up, then he called me.

I used them. Don't know where everyone gets their information, but they are no where near an 800 dollar harness. I bought one for my swap, with 4 circuit fuse box, 5 external leads to connect to a/c, fans etc... for about 429.00. It also has a 5 foot pigtail, just about reaches under the driver's seat, new connectors, and very nice labeling. You can call them and tell them exactly what you want in your swap, and they will build it for you. They don't answer email except in the evening, because they are busy. The guys name is Shane...210-508-8401, very personable, and informed guy....I'll buy my next harness from him.....

You can also e-mail general@techrods.com
