home made motor plates.. truck oil pan right now..stock,, its too low..i have a one that i cut 3 inches off the bottom, had a shop weld flat plate.. and made my own pick tube..
which went with my old motor i sold,i still have pan,,i jus need to make pick up tube..i was rushed to get it in my car i just put the truck pick up tube and oil pan it in.. clears everything.. just real low.. i'll be putting my home made one on there.. when i swap back to stock stall convertor..

here's the ls3 intake on it..looks so perty!!.. i like the look of the carb one better i think,,but it's still perty,,got a good deal on it,, so i need injectors, harness and ecm,,i also got a ls3 cam to put in it..same specs as ls6 pretty much.. so i basically have a smaller version of ls3 and 9.6 comp ,perfect for boost,,i cant wait to get it done and see some dyno number's with boost,,this is def a budget build..

so far not including trans i have about $1450 into it already..
still need to spend about $1500 or more to boost it,,and only 500-600 to keep it n/a,, toys cost money..

I'm putting an ls3 cam and ls3 intake in my ly6 also. Can't wait to see how yours performs! It will be sometime before I'm to the point of starting mine.

they came off of a 08 truck,,, stock manifolds off the ly6..they seem to hug tighter to the motor.. the older truck manifolds didnt work i had to grind them up,,and only used two bolts to hold exhaust,,,worked ,,but not how i would like it to work,, tjese newer ones went right in,,cleared everything,, only ginded 1/8 off passenger side just to be safe..

yea it should run pretty good with just ls3 cam and intake ,hopeing for a lil over 400 at the crank,,not bad for stock parts,,

turbo deal,,i have came up with a crazy ideal to do a rear mount,, and flip the intake manifold backwards,,cut hole in fire wall.. route the charge tubing under car and cut hole in floor bord.. real stealth type look,, .

or just use the same setup they use on trucks,, keep one manifold on driver side and mahe a log type manifold on passenger side ,,clean and simple.. .maybe run a water to air intercooler,,i have enough room in engine bay..

it does clear the tb.... very close.. i still do not have gaskets on it..so might raise it just a tab.. but it clears.. [IMG][/IMG]

i got the truck harness today..!!.. i set it on top of motor to figure where everything goes.. what i need to cut..etc.. well i plan on not cutting it at all..besides a/c and few other misc things.. i will need to extend 1 or 2 injector whires to reach.. and extend map sensor wire..but other than that its going in as is.. and im going to run ecm insside the car with the fuse box i make for harness. i think it looks real clean as is.. save me some money..
these are pictures with the harness on it.. [IMG][/IMG]
