Sorry, I mistook where I read about the adaptor. It is from the Pace website describing the accessory drive kit I bought. It says:

Use RUS648060 Russell fitting 16mm X 1.5mm to 6AN for power steering outlet.
You may also use the Danchuk power steering banjo fitting 12571
I'm not sure if the part number Pace gives is the same one in the pic posted earlier in comparison to the DSE piece. The Banjo fitting looks nice as it is a 90 degree and should point the hose right at the PS box.

Hmmmmm....the Russell fitting looks even shorter and it's only $8. Is this the exact one you used? Can you confirm it fits the pump and doesn't interfere with the pulley?
I used a new high pressure hose for a 2001 corvette on mine - fits like a dream. If the other end doesn't fit your steering box, there's enough hard line on it that you can chop the end and put something on that works better. I don't know Novas very well, but the vette hose connects directly to a steering box for a 80-81 F-body. IF the Nova box can interchange, you might consider going that route.
I am also using the GMPP corvette front accessory drive setup.

Not at all. I have not tried anything yet. Still getting things arranged, just got the trans crossmember in yesterday.
I just knew about that part and thought it may be helpful. It is the one Pace recommends so I would bet it fits, but I can't say for sure.
I am going to look at a 2001 Corvette hose today as mentioned above. If it will work it's what I'll use. I have no reason to think it won't. If I was going with braided AN hoses I would try the Russell fitting, but I don't think I will.
I went and got a 2001 Corvette hose today, under $15, and fits great. If you aren't looking for braided stainless I doubt you can beat it.

Comparing my pic to yours it's impressive how my pulley sits right over the PS box connections and how far back yours sits. I guess that's a bonus to having a 66 Chevelle - everything is just tight when doing this swap. It was a little tight but I can't think of a reason to change it now.
Bringing this back up with hopes of anyones results, running into the same issue here. I can't run that oem vette hose because I'm running a hydroboost. The high pressure from the pump goes to the HB. I already have the 16mm x 1.5 to -6 an fitting: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ea...5erl/overview/ but the swivel 90 female hits the pulley.
Taking off for work over the weekend when I get back I was going to try to remove the pulley and install the fittings in hopes that the a flat side on the hex fitting falls inline with the pulley and clearance will be mm's.
Different companies fittings are built differently.
Fragola did not clear the pulley.
Aeroquip did. Sadly the Aeroquip are not swivel......
So for my Teflon line, I had to very carefully clock the fittings on the hose. Was a pain in the butt.
FWIW, I don't think the swivel fittings will handle the pressure anyway.
I don't understand why everyone has a problem with this. I used the Earl's fitting and my hose has a straight fitting that mates with it. There are no issues at all with fitment.

pics? was your pulley pressed all the way in? I thought mine would work till I noticed the pulley wasn't fully pressed. were talking 1-4mm clearances.

I tried taking a picture but the angle is really awkward and I didn't want to get my fancy camera out.
The pulley is definitely on all the way, but the clearance is really tight. I'd say less than 1/8". However, I have over 10K on my swap and this has not been a problem at all. Also, I am using the solid C5 style pulley.

thats probably it, I'm using the pulley with the openings (I think c7) I ended up modifying the fitting and just slightly grinned the top of the hex part on the fitting.

I inquired to DSE about the fitting and may have overlooked a very fundamental issue... is there a flow control valve on the pump? Is it M18x1.5? If so, if that is removed, I may be able to use the 090401. Oh man, if that's true...
Edit, yep, the DSE 090401 fitting works when you remove the OE flow valve, indicated by the arrow. Hope this helps someone in the future...
