I put my ls1 and trans in my 88 mustang today. I used aje's lsx swap kmember mounts and also bought there 4l60e trans crossmember . I have tried this everyway i can think of....and everyway is wrong! I cant see it fitting at all. Has anyone used this and got it to work...is there a trick i missed??? HELP!!!

Do you maybe have the block mounts reversed. Ive done the same thing and everything was good.

im pretty sure the block mounts are right. i followed other swaps on her and saw the pictures of how they go. they point toward the back of the motor. and the mount in the holes closest to the front of the motor.

What is the problem? The motor is in. The trans crossmember should look like a u. With the curve towards the back of the car. If I remember right. Ill look for some pics.

it kinda does u a bit but not close to fitting. I have a feeling a may have the wrong crossmemeber

UPDATE!!!! It is the wrong crossmember. I found out that they sent me the one for th400 trans. This will set me back a bit

Uhh that sucks. To bad it wasn't for th350. I'd say I'll take it. But yeah not TH400 for me yet.
