Default oil pan ?

does anybody know if the GM performance parts LS pan there sellin in jegs magazine is just like the CTSV pan and will fit the mustang chassis with AJE frontend? it looks like it but not sure Thanks

If its this one that you are talking about http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...12593/10002/-1 yes but no. This is not the CTSV pan, it is a LH8 hummer pan. The sump is fairly far toward the back so it will fit with a lot of frames, but it has a 7.5" deep sump......so it tends to hang down under the K member on a lot of cars. IIRC the caddy is only 5.5 or 6" deep.

where can i find a good fitting pan if i cant find a car pan here local? i havent found a good one yet and im not really expecting to lol

I wish GM would offer all factory pan packages at that killer price. I just ordered a new F-body pan kit from https://www.partstaxi.com/partlocato...?siteid=215330 for a lit'l less than $300. Under $200 is a price I wouldn't think twice .
