I have the gm block off, it came with my intake manifold. I really don't like the look of the freeze plugs or the gm part. It looks unfinished.
I thought about using the gm part and putting a billet cover on top of that. Has anyone done this? Seems like a 1/8 or 1/4 plate would work.
It would be cool to do something like that and have the engine size (5.3) engraved in the top of it.

Yeah I'm kind of anti-S&P because of thier high pricing, sad because I can actually drive to thier place.
You think with all that money they make they can pay someone to update thier website to be easier to navigate and do away with all the pdf links. Plus having an actual website with online shopping and check-out feature would pay off in the long run.
I may get a raw piece of aluminum and play with it. Thanks again
