Default LS6 crate engine?

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum,anyone know when GM is going to offer the LS6 crate engine with the computer and wiring harness like they did with the LS1?

I don't know that they are going to, and besides, you can do SO much better than their offerings on wiring and computer.
Buy the engine and then get a custom harness for YOUR application. Their "one size fits all" and "one computer program for everyone", falls short in a lot of ways.

Thanks for the link-there using the wiring harness and computer from the LS1 and had it reworked for the LS6. I'm going to give speartech a call.

im thinkin bout goin w/ them b/c theyr bout $200 cheaper but i dont know how reliable they are. does anybody else knwo how reliable they are?

For $200 extra bucks "insurance" I'd go with Speartech. I've heard nothing but good about them. Plus you'd be doing business with a site sponsor.

12498399 is the LS6 crate w/ an f-body oil pan allready on it. 5389 is what i can get them for. all in all, not too bad.

Yeah John, I almost ordered the LS1 kit but knew that I would have regretted it, knowing there was a more powerful option from the general.I'll deal with the computer and harness issues down the line,I also emailed you in reference to a computer under my email MR5762194@AOL.COM. Ed

on another note....i dont know how much customer support you will get from the ebay harness mod, heard nothing but good from speartech.
