76 Malibu VS ca emissions, HELP! I was about to update the engine and trans in my 76 Malibu to a 2001 5.3 with all the accessories including the fuel stuff and the canister out of the truck. I was hoping to make it all emission compliant, but I think the small truck to passenger car is a no-no. Trying to do this on a budget so an LS1/2/ or other is out of the question cause take outs are at least double from where I stand.
Does anyone have experience with adding a OBD II engine to an older vehicle? How did you get through the referee and through smog?
