Default Finally making some progress on my '79 Malibu

I finally got the motor and trans dropped in my '79 Malibu the other night to check the fitment of everything dancin_banana.gif . I am using BRP's motor mounts and 1 7/8" headers w/ a Muscle Car Oil pan kit. The BRP mounts and Headers fit awesome I don't have a single complaint about them. I am going to have to grind a little on the edge of the passenger side lower control mount for a little extra clearance but that's no big deal. I am also using an Iceman cross member for my th400 and it too fit great!

I can't wait to get this thing up and running so I an take it out and beat on it! Here are a couple of pictures of how everything fits.

Looks great! what is the total height of the motor mounts?
Is the height the same on both sides?
Originally the engine was offset about an inch to the passengers side of the car, did BRP center the engine with their mounts?
Any idea how much ground clearance you will have under the headers when the car is at ride height?
keep the pictures coming

I'll measure the mounts when I pull everything back out. The engine is pretty centered in between the frame rails but I'll take some measurements to verify for sure.

Here is a picture of the ground clearance under the oil pan, the oil pan and headers are pretty even! If there is a ground clearance problem I have coil overs up front and I'll just raise the front up a little while cruising the streets.
