Default 4L70E/4L60E tranny cable into 68 Camaro

Anyone know what cable to use for this? My stock 68 cable is too short. Never done this.

Help a newbie!

Thanks!

Default Shift lever. Cannot seem to get it hooked up right.

Shiftworks is sending a 32" cable to try but we are just guessing on length at this stage. Also, their lever has an issue....

its hard to see the linkage in the photo. Are you refering to the angle outward?

Can you flip the linkage arm? That is if its offset. Can't really see to well.

i think your problem may be in the shifter not the linkage.

I have a feeling I will be running into something like this on my basket case 70 Camaro LS swap. I have the factory (70) auto shifter cable and a 4L64E from a 05 or 06 SSR with the factory linkage and casble. I am hopefull <eyeroll> of making it work without buying anything else but recon I will have to.

Keep US imformed on what is the solution.

thanks,
Jim
