Default 67 Nova L92

First thanks for everyones help. It's finally running and driveable.

1967 real Nova SS car.
2009 L92 with Teas Speed 225/230 cam
LS3 intake
Speartech harness
Keisler 600 TKO 5 speed.
Heidt super ride front suspension
Heidt 4 link in the back.
Ford 9" 3:50 gears
18" American Eagle wheel.
C5 brakes from Kore3

Seems to run real strong.
Only about 50 miles on it.

Have to do some fine tuning to the sheet metal gaps but that's fot this winter.

Awesome build, could'nt be better! And you got all the good stuff to make it hug the corners and eat up the straightaways.

beautiful build, absolutely the best looking body style of the novas built. What accesories are you running on the front of that motor? I have an L92 myself, thinking about the LS3 intake. That rig should bring a lot of smiles.

All F-body acessories including crank pulley and water pump. I used a Autokraft oil pan but a F-body pan would have worked just as well.

very nice build I bet that is a lot of fun, I really like this body style. Any 1/4 mile times? how much does it weigh?

For the radiator I used a Griffin universal with the 1.25 tubes. Good for at least 500 hp. It has a u-shaped flange top and bottom that I welded in mounting blocks for the top and bottom cradle. 16" Spal fan.

No 1/4 mile times yet. Just happy to get a few miles on it. Need to have it tuned.

I did delete the VVT. Used a LS2 timing cover and cam gear for 58 computer.

I still have all the VVT stuff if anyone is interested.

I believe the paint is SEM hot rod black. It's actually paint not just primer. Two part but no clear over the top. Looks good. Sprayed over the existing paint. I didn't have time to do a complete strip and repaint.

What did you need to use the tremic 5 speed with the LS? What are you using for your clutch, mechanical or juice?

In regards to the paint I didn't spray it but it is only a base plus hardener. See this Street Rodder for another version with a matte clear coat. Looks very cool.

As far as the trans I picked thru the Keisler stuff. From Keisler was the TKO 600, bell housing, LS7 clutch and pressure plate, throw out bearing, output shaft. I built the clutch linkage for about $40. Rod ends for the pivots, round tubing for the cross shaft and 3/8"x 1" flat stock for the arms. Couldn't see $300 for the hydraulic setup thou I understand it is nice. Keisler was good about letting me pick and chose.
