I like to be different. Here's my dd, a 1974 Honda Civic on a 1990 AWD wagovan chassis with a 94 vtec-e (economy) 1.5 and turbo. I've put 120K on it since I built it in '03.

This is a 1982 MB turbo diesel wagon on a 1984 Nissan 720 Chassis. MB 3.0 turbo diesel motor/trans, divorced transfer. Sold it in 2004.

And there have been others. But the theme, I guess, is if it is 2WD make it 4WD and if 4WD make it 2WD. But there have been some more "normal" ones, but nothing any one else does. Just wierd stuff.

No progress just a couple more pics of the Jeep and Vette when I brought them home. $200 for the Jeep, $900 for the Vette. Sold off a bunch of stuff. Less than $1K invested so far. Hope to sell the Jeep's hardtop for $700 and the crossfire motor.

An early C4 isn't worth much around here. The body was pretty much perfect. Interior was weak. Couldn't give the body parts away. Man that C4 body stuff is heavy. Doors have got to be more than 100# each. The beauty of the C4 is the suspension, IMHO. I remember seeing those aluminum A-arms back in 1983.

You shouldn't look at what Hot Rod did with one then.

Remember Caddy Hack from the 80's? That should give you a clue.

Edit: Found the link.

Sorry pics aren't in order. Here are a couple of how I fit the hood and grille before paint.

Interesting. Could've almost kept the hood as is and added the flatfenders to it. Not going for tire coverage, just the look. It's a different project and I still like it.
