68 c-10 5.3 and th400 build got a question about the 5.3 guys.... lookin to put a ls6 intake/ throttle body on it, headers, get rid of the pulley driven fan, longtubes, and wires, and a hp tuners tune. any idea what kind of power that would make at the motor? any thing else i should do that would help alot? thought about doing a z06 cam and diff springs but im not sure.. i want the power but not the nasty sound of a cam because its gonna be my dd work truck. thanks for any info

i was also thinking about about getting it punched over... its a complete motor but im gonna tear it down (because i got it from my boss and he dont know what kind of condition its in) so i was thinking about takin everything up there after i get my parts and get the motor punched over, heads ported, and ls6 intake and throttle body ported... let me know what you guys think and give me some advice please.

A stock z06 cam will not sound lopey such as a 114lsa cam it will still sound stock but with a little more power i would go ahead and swap cams while the motor is apart.....

yea it will fit but requires some modification... was gonna do it but decided just to do th400 its alot cheaper
