Default question: 700R4 connector on Belair w/327

In one connector have 4 pins, what those pins goes to?
My friend has 1956 Chevy Belair with 327 engine. Can the connector change the transmission over to a one wire setup? Please tell me how I can..

Thanks for input.

Need inform relating the one-wire, it is for the lockup convertor switch. A single wire solenoid (12 volts)through the pressure switch to the self grounding solenoid. The switch must be a normally open type, closes with pressure.
