hp on a iron block 5.3 with ls2 heads and stock ls2 cam??? I just scored a set of ls2 heads with yellow valve springs and a stock ls2 cam for my 5.3 with an ls1 intake.what would be a est on the hp this combo would put out???

However, I remember reading that an ls2 cam can't be used in a gen3 engine. Something about the rear cam sensor. Might wanna check up on that in the gen3 internal section

you should be able to use the cam but i think youll need to get a gen 4 timing cover a block off plate for the rear cover. or something like that. might not be able to but i tihink you should be able to with some more customizing than you were already going to. again not 100%
