1968 Chevelle Wagon LS1 6-speed swap
Hey guys!
I've got a question. What would it take and how much do you guys think it would take to swap a ls1 with a T-56 from a 2002 Firehawk into a 1968 Chevelle wagon with a 350 and a 3-speed auto?

The only thing different fron the coupe swap is getting the gas tank situation worked out. You can't order a tank setup for a wagon assuming you have the side mount tank. My tank is in the final stages of being modified, but essentially you'll need to add a new pump internally or modify the tank for an external pump.
Here's a good write up on internal: http://www.jefflilly.com/gallery/hot...-tank-mod.html.
I chose to weld on an AN fitting to the bottom rear of the tank for fuel to the pump, and one on the top for return.

Thanks guys! Surprisingly there's not too much out there that I've seen on swapping a LS1 + T-56 into a 1968 Chevelle Wagon. Mostly what I've seen is for 67 and below or 69 and above. But seeing these swaps are making me want this wagon to work out more and more!
