does any one have a subframe madefor omega/catera v8 for sale or have a subframe and can do some measuring for the engine mount plates that are different from v6 catera.
i need a subframe or measures from a from v8 opel omega/ cadillac catera

here is a link from another thread with pictures of the subframe i am looking for. any one know about a subframe like this or have one or can make some measuring of the mounting plates on a subframe like this.

Unless I'm misundersanting the other thread.....that subframe never went into production. Somehow that guy got his hands on, or at least photos of, a pre-production subframe for a v8 car that never happened.

ii has been produced about 20 complete kit for building an catera v8 gm sold the parts to lingenfelter and lingenfelter sold it on ebay. i have a kit that is missing that subframe . but as you say it has never been produced as a gm car but some people that has buyed a kit has build one.
i hope to get in touch with someone that have a subframe to make som measuring so i can make a subframe like the orginale.

Catera V6 to V8 conversion subframe
I don't know of who might still have one but keep in mind you don't have to have it. We did our original V8 Catera conversion before we were able to get those parts from GM so the V8 Catera conversion we did used the stock front subframe with fabricated mounts.
