Default anyone w/a turbo fox or sn-95 daily driver?

I've been reading thread after thread trying to decide what to power my 95 mustang with. I have access to a few different turbos & now I'm leaning towards a 5.3/turbo combo. After viewing numerous pictures of some turbo stangs I've yet to see any that weren't really cut on to accomodate the turbo. Has it been done, is there room? Its understandable for a track car but I would like to have a nice looking engine bay that doesn't have a turbo half tucked in under the fender (no offense, works great for a drag car I'm sure). Anybody got any pics of a real clean install?

BG Custom Turbo, you have to trim the frame rail a bit.

Do you want specifically 5.3/turbo input? The 5.3 and 5.0 are comparable in size and many people have done the 5.0 with a turbo without hacking up the fenders.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it'll be LS based.

It depends on your headers and turbo selection. A typical 5.0/t70 has plenty of room to not make you cut the fenders or anything.
Learn how to weld. Then you can mAke it just the way you want

I'm an estimator for a steel fabrication company that specializes in mandrel tube bending & forming. I used to work in the shop and I'd bet I could fab circles around you. But thanks for the tip.

Whoa relax.

What's up with the Internet hard asses now a days?

You are asking a pretty simple question that I am trying to help you on. Why you are getting offended I have no idea. If you are such a great fab guy....why are you asking a message forum for answers?

The corral for instance has a turbo section with builds on sn95s. Guys with the on3 (one of the cheapest kits) don't even cut their fenders. This is with a T70 turbo.

Again tho, any custom job is superior to a kit IMO. Since you're so awesome...and you know absolutely nothing about me....perhaps you should build it and stop asking basic questions.

Thats an option although time is a problem for me. If a kit is available it may be worth it to a guy like me.

Also, when you do something all day long you usually don't want to go home and continue the same type of work. After 12 years in this industry one of the last things I look forward to is tube work when I'm not at work.

Completely understandable.

Brian at bg might be able to help, give him a call.

Even so you sure picked a weird combo to avoid fabrication. Getting a Lsx into a sn95 with little fab is one thing, but to turbo it too?

Be sure to post up if you find a kit.

I'm not really trying to avoid fabrication, just want to minimize it.

"use flipped manifolds like the camaro guys - done...." Yeah, I think thats the plan, any idea which manifolds I should be looking for?

"I daily my 2000 with no issues but traction lol." Thats exactly what I'm looking forward to. The stock cobra 240 hp mill leaves PLENTY to be desired.

Mullet, what cam are you running? Also, are all of the other engine components stock or???

Stock LQ4 with head studs, rod bolts and an Ed Curtis/Flowtech Incduction cam. Used manifolds for twins for the new setup if you're interested in doing twins they work great and fit well/strong. Newer style factory manifolds though.
