'67 GTO LS3 Swap

You Sir, have one bad *** GTO. I offer my congrats to you on an awesome build. Everything I have seen is very tasteful and not over the top. The wheels/tires are killer and you have the stance/rake of the car nailed perfect. That goat has to be a blast to drive.
Way to go!

Thanks guys. Jeff, I went with the '04 GTO power seats. They're pretty comfortable. I'd like to change the color to match the interior and lose the headrests though.

Man, I hardly ever post here but am always lurking, and your car has to be my favorite on the site. I am in complete envy over here, drooling over the pics. Hope to have a carbon copy of your car one day, only with three pedals.
Kudos sir, very nice ride.

Have you had any problems with the MAF mounted on the bottom ?

Your car is a great inspiration. My dad has a 67 GTO convertible in the garage. It had an engine fire in 1979 and my dad bought it in 1984 (I was one year old) after 5 years outside in Minnesota. It was a California car on a road trip when it burned. The engine bay was toast but the dash didn't even burn. Most of the metal work was done in '84 and since the car wasn't all that valuable back then the original motor and tranny were scrapped. The car has sat relatively untouched since '84. I'm trying to get him started on it again with an LS motor instead of a plain old 350. I'm going to share this thread with him.

Working on my 1967 GTO convertible. going with an LS3 with 6speed manual trans. Using the Holley front brackets with AC,etc. Did you use the 2 inch drop spindles on the front? Did you change the springs to get the ride height? Great looking car! Dublingto
