I have a 82 4x4 k5 with a 5.3/th350 if I swap to a th400 is there anything different besides the th350 is mechanical kickdown and the 400 is electric.

The TH400 also needs a manifold vacuum connection.

The TH400 is longer than the Th350 and takes a different drive shaft yoke if I remember correctly. You will also need to move or modify your transmission cross-member unless you can find one out of a truck with a TH400 to swap in.

ya im not worried about that im just talking about going from the 5.3 with a
th350 does anything change when going to the th400 like flywheel and stuff with the engine.
