a body edelbrock kit with pass side low a/c

a body edelbrock kit with pass side low a/c I am mocking up dads stuff and the bracket for the a.c pump runs right into the motor mount.
My thought is to cut the aft upper portion away to clear the motor mount.
What have you guys done to solve this problem.

I had the same problem with the Edelbrock plates. They ran into my compressor. I wound up moving my motor stands back on the plates and trimming the plates so they were shorter. I then moved my motor stands back on the cross member. Follow the thread and scroll down for a picture of what I did. Hope this helps...
