Ive got a 1985 trans am in which i am planning on swaping to a ls motor and would like to know what parts would be suggested. I am going to swap in the plastic gas tank and fuel system. Im trying to figure out which transmission would be suggested for a 500-600 hp build. And which different computer systems i will need.

Why the plastic tank?

5-600hp is either built T56, 4L80E or some old 3 spd trans. Dont forget the fragile 10 bolt out back

Stock GEN III LSx electronics are more than capable of controlling that setup
