Default LS1 into 65 impala questions

My cousin is about to install a ls1/4l60e into 1965 chevy impala and have some questions about the wiring harness and fuel pump/tank.

Where is a good place to get a plug and play harness? is there any company out there that custom makes one for your needs?

Can you use the stock fuel tank with a inline pump or switch to a ls1 tank?

Thanks

I have a 65 biscayne that's begging for a 5.3, or 6.0 and a single turbo.....
I'd LOVE to see pics of yours..

If your talking about the engine. Many ways to go. Have someone like Speartec convert it.. or there are vendor that will sell you a new standalone one. Ebay has some out there

If you want a standalone wiring harnless for the fuel pump.. check out Racetronix.. I am using one on my Chevelle. .

I would suggest intank setup. Unless there is a good reason to go external pump setup.

Not sure, but I am using a 95 Impala tank.. not sure what your 65-66 looks like, but check it out, maybe it will be a good low cost conversion. You can also use the sender fuel sender as it is 0-90 ohm, which should match up with your stock gauge. It is setup for EFI, just need to change the pump.

im doing an ls swap on my 68 camaro and have a custom built harness on order with bp automotive. Bill seems very patient and will answer any question you have about it. He quoted me about 4 to 6 weeks on delivery. ive talked to a few people who have ordered from him and they said he is more than happy to answer questions over the phone you may have while Installing. As far as fuel pump I'm running a walbro 255 inline with corvette filter regulator
