Old thread, but anyone doing this type of swap should review Ackermann angle prior to swapping spindles side to side to get the rack in front.

Hey Guys!

Just wanted to let everyone know that this car is still alive. I purchased it this weekend, and I am picking it up and hauling it home this week. Turbo will be getting replaced (the 76mm Masterforce is smoked) and I will be going through it and getting all of the little stuff buttoned up and fixed. This car has been passed around a lot over the last few years, and it shows. I will update this post with some current pics and conditions, and I will also be updating it with any new mods, and soon, I will update how this thing is doing in the 1/4 and the 1/8th mile. I will probably also start getting some youtube videos posted about it, and may start an instagram for the car to keep people updated if interested. The car is still located in Muscatine (Eastern Iowa) like it was about a year ago. My friends had it, and never really got time to get around to do anything with it, so I scooped it up.

Any chance you could post some pics of the steering setup on the knuckles ? Im building a focus v8 right now and just finished the rear end and about to build the front end. Thanks
