Default C105 question pin H

Hello,

I see in some pin listings it is shown as an EGR valve and on others as Air injector reaction solenoid relay output-coil.

The wire is orange.

I am thinking I will not need it, but wanted to make sure I dont take it out for no reason.

Thanks for any help.

Might wanna tell us which harness you're talking about. Vettes were different than Fs, 98 Fs were different than 99-00, and 01-02 were a little different as well.

I'm guessing it's a 00 or earlier since you mentioned EGR valve.

C105, pin H, orange wire is 12V, battery voltage according to AllData. Orange wires usually are battery voltage and pink wires are usually switched voltage.

thus why I asked the question. Several of the people who have used the complete harnesses say to not use this. I wanted to double check.

Correct, but AllData also says that it's for circuit # 1440. When you look up that circuit, it's for the Secondary Air Injection solenoind, which the OP won't need, unless he needs an emissions legal car.

Yep, it powers the secondary air injection solenoid and the air pump relay.
