Default 87 TPI Iroc,LS1 swap,PF relay wiring ? help

Best forum best wealth of knowledgeable helpful people, right here.Finishing swap.Helping a buddy that had engine out when he got it,i got it with harness's out.may have got parts from other cars.I dont think the FP relay/wiring is with it.I think I will just wire in a bosh 30 -40amp relay. My question is were is the wire that goes to the fuel pump to power it? Does it come in through the floorboard? Im not seeing anything from the top, need to know were the connector is suppossed to be or were to cut it and connect the 12v.seems these Gen3 are wired different for different years no FP wiring comes through bulk head connector. Thanks in advance

That relay used to be on the firewall, on the drivers side. The wire to the fuel pump might still be hanging there somewhere. If not, just run a new, 10 gauge, wire to the rear of the car. It's probably only a 30 minute job.

10ga is way overkill. The engine, dash, lights and interior are all ran off a single 10ga wire, no reason to run a conventional pump off that. 16ga is sufficient, 12-14ga if you must go larger

This shows the basics of a relay, where power goes, where it gets ground etc

Applied to a swap. This was drawn for 90-92 cars. Your output wire is moved from C100 G4 to C207 D on your 87

I meant the wire from the fuel pump how far forward will I find it? does it go under the dash?or is there supposed to be a harness from relay to it under the car?

It goes all the way up to the C207 (pass side of the dash). From there you're already modifying the harness so just assign your new FP relay output to C207 pin D. Dont worry about digging under the car or inside it

I would like to know phyisically where this connection is(see arrow)seems if I knew were this connection was,it would be the right place to tap the relay hot out to FP,is it inside car out side left side right?

when you tap D in 207, is this 207 connection?its chopped out
I may not be asking the questions well enough ,so if splained like I was 4 might help me understand
Thanks

OK, the pic of your harness

GRY 6 pin connector with 3 wires is the C221. It holds your INJ1/2 and fan fuse
Two black connectors are old ECM and get removed
Clear connector is the C207 and houses a multitude of things
Black fender grommet should be kept to plug the hole or hollowed out to run the new harness through (if using the stock route)

Read over this, you dont use much of anything from the original circuit, you redo everything

This is how I connect the swap harness to the original making it plug and play

The diagram above is used to build a new FP/Fan relay circuit and integrated into the 3rd gen harness half
