Default Throttle cable

I would like to know which throttle cable is most widely used when performing an LSX swap into a G-Body. I have Edelbrock's ProFlo intake with their cable operated TB.

Lokar, I'm using one with my swap. I've used 3 others in the past and absolutely love them.

I used a stock silverado one from the junkyard on my 71 Chevelle. Fit perfect.

I used a stock truck (tahoe) cable on my el camino. Had to drill out the hole in the firewall to make it round, and then bend the gas pedal rod to get WOT.

I'll be using the Lokar one. I think as long as it's long enough, and you are creative enough, any cable will fit. The F-body is supposed to fit as well.

Theres a difference between the f-body cables, one for traction controlled, one for non tc. I also used a Silverado cable in my LS1 Caprice swap, fit was better than the OJ glove.

Thanx Merv. What year - 98-00? Looks like the 01-02 are longer.
