Default LS1/4L60E into a Third Gen

ok heres the deal

92 RS Camaro (blown engine)
V6 auto

Donor Car 00 Trans Am wrecked body
kept the Complete Engine trans PCM fuel tank..the rest was trashed

purchasing plans are
tubular K-member
motor mounts
trans crossmember
headers
??Painless wire harness??
questions
can I use the LS1 Fuel Tank on the Third Gen and will I need adapters for the fuel lines?

Will I be able to use the factory LS1 Fuel Rails without any clearance issues?

If I don't plan on running with A/C would I have to get a tubular K-member or can I use the stock K-member?

I really don't prefer to do the wiring so is there anywhere I can send the factory Third Gen wiring harness and the LS1 wiring harness to get it spliced for plug and play?

any Header company supplying swap headers besides Hawks, F-body or speedway? possibly for a lot cheaper in the 250-500?

average cost for a shop with provided parts?

Q.) can I use the LS1 Fuel Tank on the Third Gen and will I need adapters for the fuel lines?

A.) yes and yes

Q.) Will I be able to use the factory LS1 Fuel Rails without any clearance issues?

A.) yes the ls1 sits real low in the 3rd gens

Q.) If I don't plan on running with A/C would I have to get a tubular K-member or can I use the stock K-member?

A.) if not using a/c you can use the stock k-member. even if you wanted a/c you can use it just have to modify it.

Q.) I really don't prefer to do the wiring so is there anywhere I can send the factory Third Gen wiring harness and the LS1 wiring harness to get it spliced for plug and play?

A.) theres a couple people/companies that do this.

Q.) any Header company supplying swap headers besides Hawks, F-body or speedway? possibly for a lot cheaper in the 250-500?

A.) at the moment i think the only ones supplying swap headers are those and not cheap.

Q.) average cost for a shop with provided parts?

A.) all shops are different and youd have to call around on that. Hit up TPITERROR i think he just started charging people for these swaps.

Look up Pocket on this board or over at thirdgen (same SN). He'll do your harness for a reasonable price.

Check out thirdgen.org under the LSx section for lots of builds and answers to just about any question you may have.
