Default lt1 tranny fit ls1 differences

I have the chance to buy an lt1 6 speed will it fit an ls1 and if so what are the pro and cons and what will have to be done to make it fit

Bellhousings and input shapts are different.

Input Shaft, Front Shims, Front Plate, Bell Housing.

It will fit, you will have to assemble it correctly.

meaning i have to change the input shaft,ive never fooled around with either ls or lt engines

Basically means its expensive and not worth changing. Keep looking for an LS version or use that trans behind and older small block.
