Default Trans Dapt swap mounts...1 inch set bac only?

I'm finally getting some money and am looking for cheap swap mounts and found trans dapt, has anyone used them? also why are they only in 1inch set back? is that what i need to put the 5.3 in a stock SBC location?

One inch back is for the stock sbc location. I don't know about the transdapt plates but I would consider your headers and trans crossmember before purchasing plates. They all have to work together.

The 1" setback plates are suppose to allow you to bolt the engine and trans together while keeping the trans in its stock location and prevent you from having to modify the drive shaft length, the engine wont be in its stock position, hence the 1" setback.
