This car is gonna rock. I just want to get some info on turbo size for stock 5.3 with possible upgrades later. Right now the only thing we are gonna do is cam and spring upgrade. Would a T70 MP work well or go bigger for later upgrades? We wanna keep the 5.3 size. The car as of right now with the 2.5 iron duke tips the scales at #2610. We have the computer and harness out of the 03 Suburban, could that be used and if so how would you tune it? or what would be best? Any info is greatly appreciated.

A T70 would work great. Get the .96AR version over the .68. A Turbonetics TC76 or 78 would also work well and is easy to package. Possible power around 500-650rwhp with a stock longblock. A cam/spring upgrade now will improve power.

The truck harness and computer will work fine if your comfortable stripping the harness down to nothing and rerouting. Use a small fuse/relay block to power everything up. I usually cut off the pcm terminals, route all the wires from the sensors to the pcm location and reterminate the pcm connector as needed. A prebuilt harness is definately easier if your not handy with wiring.

If you can get it to hook, be prepared to see the sky.

Are the harness and PCM from the same vehicle? If it is an earlier engine (drive by cable) the 03 harness PCM (should be drive by wire) will have to be reworked to accomodate an IAC and TPS. Just our 2 Cents.
