Default Wiring Woes

Here's the story, I paid a shop to make my motor run. They did. I asked them to place the needed wires inside my Jeep to get working gauges. They did. Well apparently their wire markers fell off. You can see a bit of the remnants on one or two wires here. I checked a few different wiring diagrams online. Couldn't find anything that would need to be run into the cab of the vehicle.

Anyway, what the heck are these for? *Edit* 98 LS1 out of a WS6

Well this is a giant guess B/C there are multiple green wires in the harness, but since you said gauges>

I think the green and white is the speedometer.
The green is probably your temp gauge
The yellow doesn`t make much sense to me, but IIRC there is a 2nd speedometer output wire that is a solid yellow, maybe they ran double for the speedo?

DK GRN/WHT A/C request signal

or

GRN/WHT Vehicle speed signal

VSS = Speedo? Hope so.

WHT Tachometer signal to instrument cluster

or

WHT Skip shift indicator control (V8 VIN G Manual transmission)

Pretty sure that one is the Tach, but I figured since the other one says indicator I would ask.

DK GRN Coolant temperature feed to instrument cluster

I really really want this one to be the temp feed. There were a few others with the same color, but I don't think they would have any business being inside the cab under the dash.

Check www.lt1swap.com. He has pinouts for just about all of the LSx series engines. You just have to follow those wires back to your computer and see which color connector and which pin.
