Default Alternator and Starter wiring help...LS1

What do I need to do to wire my ls1 alternator and starter so they will work? I know its a blunt question but I need help. The rest of the wiring is already done; this is just the last thing I need to do before it runs. Its in a '95 240sx

Is your ls1 harness missing the the plug that goes into the rear of the alternator? What about the wires that go down to the starter?

You need the plug that goes to the alternator , and the Wire that goes to your battery . That is the nut on the back. You can either run it to your starter terminal which your positive wire connects to , or you can run it to the battery. The S terminal on the starter gets 12v when you crank the key. Find the wire that went to your old starter ,and your in business.

Like they said with my Chevelle I ran the factory wiring to the starter and a cable from the alt to the battery and then plug in the wire from the pcm.

Use the same alternator power wire and starter wires that your stock SX used. Hook them up just the same way.

8 ga or larger for the output lug depending on amperage. 18-20 ga for the harness connector

Runnin 6ga for my charging wire. But more because I had it and less because I needed it. Remember its better to be too big than too small... that's what she said.
