Default LM7 Exhaust Clearance Issues in '79 Camaro

Dropped the engine in, the clam-shell mount tops and frame cushions line up, and the trans is in the right place. However the passenger side exhaust manifold is basically resting on the frame rail. My reading has led me to the belief that the passenger side should be no issue, its the drive side that would cause grief.

Engine is a LM7 from a 2002/3 Tahoe.

Did I do something wrong, or should I be looking for new manifolds? These have the EGR port.

I'm using Transdapt (pos) 1inch set back brackets. I should have just made my own or bought some from ebay, these are garbage, stay away.
