Hey guys, this is my first post but i have been a long time lurker. I am also on camaros.net.

My question is how much stuff off of an 04 GTO will I be able to use on a 67 Camaro. Will the motor accessories (a/c, p/s, etc.) radiator, rad fans, harness work? Thanks so much for the information, the more i read here the more I learn about these engines and swaps!

it would be very similar to an F-car Ls1 swap.. Check my build thread in my sig to get an idea of what is involved..

I have read through it a couple of times, was the radiator from the donor car or was that from something else? Is it controlled by the ECM?

radiator is from a 93-97 camaro (identical to 98-02 camaro but without the port for the steam line, I ran mine into the waterpump.) it is fans from the same. The fans are controlled by the stock ECM

Thanks so much for the info. that is what i was looking for. I found a interior burnt 04 GTO and was thinking of buying the whole car to use motor, trans., rad., fans, etc. Just wanted to be sure i could do it so i was not wasting my time and money.

Even with the motor from a car the oil pan still has to be modified?

Go with an hummer h3 pan it fit in my nova great and it beats cutting and weilding alum.
