Needs to be hot all the time, until you step on the brake, to break the circuit.....

You may need to contact the maker of your harness, most tcc wires coming from the harness are purple in color. I dont see why you need the relay. Coming off the brake switch there should be a connection at one end for the vehicles brake lights, at the other end of the brake swtich there are 2 male butt connectors, 1 needs to get 12 volts from a keyed source and the other gets connected to the tcc wire.

You stated you have a wiring diagram, is it from the harness supplier, or is it the actual pin out......I'm confused.....if you have the pin out, trace the wire back to the connector, then match it to the pin out.....

Okay, then back trace it. Start at the connector, and trace that wire down to where it goes. If it is brown, and the one you have, good, if not, find the correct wire on that pin and use it. The pinout isn't going to lie to you. If it is green connector, #2, then it is what it says, not matter what color he used......that's what the wire does..period.

Beware Hooking up your TCC improperly is dangerous.
TCC lockup functions as follows.
Brakes NOT applied. +12V is applied from switched ignition source through (normally a 4wire brake switch NOT 2 wire) to the PCM TCC input control wire blue connector pin 33, Purple wire. PCM output removed +12v from trans TCC solenoid output , red connector, pin 2, brown wire.

When you accelerate the vehicle and after PCM file determined speed, PCM applies +12v to TCC output pin, engaging TCC lockup. When you apply the brakes, +12v is removed from TCC control pin on PCM, via 4 wire brake switch and TCC is released.

Go here for an electrical diagram beginning on page 7 :
