Default House brand Corvette filter/regulator.

Has anyone tried the house brands from O'rielly's or Autozone's for the Corvette filter/regulator?

Thanks Tim.

They can't get a wix filter for some reason, even most of the online stores cant. Do you have a part number for the AC delco filter.

Thanks Tim.

I just ordered a Wix from O'reilly .. I swear some of the people at these parts stores are lazy/retarded. If I can order one so can you. BTW if you are not in a hurry you can get one from ebay shipped for $42.
Do a search for "WIX 33737" the AC Delco is twice as much.

We get the best that high school dropouts making barely above minimum wage have to offer.

I got mine at NAPA, they were having a sale on all filters at the time, paid less than $30 and it's stamped on the filter 'Made in the USA'.

I found mine on Amazon for $14.95 plus shipping. They guy says he has a pallet of them he bought from a supply house that went out of business. If you are interested search for "corvette fuel filter". I guess it will be a while before I will find out if it's any good or not. I'll be bench firing my motor hopefully this weekend. I can not find any brand name on it. It is made overseas.

We dont have a local NAPA, Rockauto has a Non-stock item--shipping delayed up to 35 business days listed on there's. Never thought about checking Amazon i will try that.

As far as O'rielly's they do have some tards working for them and I work in Springfield which is where there main warehouse is.

Thanks for the info guys.

I wouldn't even consider the Oreilly's house brand filter. I've heard they have problems with the regulator inside sticking open and not building the correct pressure, this was info from a guy I know that tried two of them, both did the same thing.

I think Wix filters are on national back order. Oreilly's by me can't get them either, I know a guy that works there and he looked everywhere and couldn't find one in their computer system, even the wharehouse didn't have them. I checked Rock Auto too, and it says delayed shipment up to 35 days. Went to Napa and ordered one yesterday, and it was only about three bucks more than Oreilly's.

I wonder who makes that Napa filter? It could be the same as Oreilly's.

says wix. but does wix contract different manufacturers and put their name on it? don't know about that but their quality is far better.

Well I went ahead and ordered one off of ebay. Hopefully it will be the correct one. Wonder why NAPA still has some and not the other big auto stores. Oh well.

Maybe it's because the NAPA filters are made right here in the USA as shown in my pic and the 'others' have to take a slow boat from China?

lol, I feel the same way... for what it's worth O'Reilly can get the WIX filter no problem, the guy who told you he couldn't doesn't know what he is doing. The warehouses have plenty of them in stock, trust me. Just take the wix part number and tell them to order it for you.
