Found a 2001 astro van 4l60e trans. What will I have to do for this to properly shift? It's going behind an lq4 in an a body.

All Astros had 4.3. To the op, so long as you use the factory correct flexplate for the LQ4(has a spacer on it from factory), you will be able to use either a later or earlier model 60e.

Let me know if it bolts up correctly. I have the same 4.3 4L60E Behind my LQ9, i used the factory flexplate without the spacer then had to elongate the holes that bolt to the Converter.
