Default 408 LQ4 with LS3 Top End... Water Pump HELP

Hey guys, so I just finished up my build. I don't know what to do about a water pump. Since the stock truck pump has a water neck that interferes with the throttle body, Whats the best way to go about this??

I'm running the LQ4 with an LS6 intake and C5 accessories. Everything clears.

No its not just the corner. The whole water neck and throttle body interfere with each other. There is no way to shave the neck enough to clear. Definitly need a different pump. Any suggestions?

If running truck accessories, you can get a f-body water pump and swap the truck w/p pulley onto it.

I'd run the F-body accessories, they are more compact.

Did you try an L92 truck pump with the angled outlet or the original LQ4 with the vertical outlet?
Options:
You can get 3/4" spacers off ebay and run an f body pump.
Pull the f body pulley forward on the shaft.
Use an L99 water pump
Swap the truck pulley onto the f body pump (I did that one)
Buy one already swapped.

That fox water pump looks like the way to go. $255 though. The L99 pump would be the same as F body pumps wouldn't it?

L99 sticks out farther than the LS1 because it has to clear the VVT valve cover.
I swapped the pulleys myself. You'll need used truck pump for the pulley (free), An LS1 f body pump ($99) a 3 jaw puller and a press.

Is the F body pump pully spaced off the body like the truck ones are?

That came out weird. I mean is the end of the pulley snouts the same distance off the pump? So the only difference is the pulley itself?

The 07 and newer truck water pump is different from earlier models. The outlet is angled and might clear. Here is a picture of a truck motor with car intake. This might work for you.

The LS3 dbw throttle body won't clearance the water inlet. It sticks out sideways too far.

If you are sticking with the DBW throttle body you can flip it 180* so that the plug connector and little motor are on the driver side, basically it will be upside down but it will still function fine.

You got a couple options. Obviously the truck pump will not work. If you want to run the LS1 pump you can, but you either need to run other ls1 accessories (including balancer), or you can run the LS1 pump with truck accessories and the spacers from ebay, which are about $75.
I went the spacers. I wish now that I wouldn't have. If I were you I'd do the ls1 kwik brackets, ls1 pump, and ls1 balancer.
