Default What is this for?

i was just trying to rule out all possible scenarios as to why my L92 won't start. I came across this tube right below the throttle body(LS3 intake). what is it for? my guess is some type up vacuum line hook up but i don't know.

Are you getting Vacuum when the engine is running ? (does look a little big for a Vacuum source).

EVAP vacuum source. ?

If no vacuum, could be the fresh air inlet for the PCV system ?

After the vacuum line that I hooked to the brake booster, that's as my vacuum knowledge goes. If it works without it, that would be great.

There is usually a vacuum port in the rear for the HVAC for the AC/heater controls/doors.

better off asking someone who know what the intake looks like, I've only worked with LS1/LS6 intake.. sorry.
