Default Grand Cherokee Swap

I have been out of the LSX game for a couple years and looking to get back. I currently own a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It started it's life as a complete base model 4.7L 4x4 Laredo. Since owning it I have done a complete SRT8 exterior overhaul and now looking to do something in the engine compartment. I would love to do a 5.3 iron block swap and toss on a turbo. Does anyone have any experience on this swap? Or possible any information on what it will take to make this happen?

Try a search. Someone was on here a year or so ago with one.

Default Ls swap

For the tranny I went with a 4l60e and I only had to redrill the hole for the mount on the stock cross member it was easy I even used the stock jeep transmission lines and for the harness i did it myself too (easy) I had it routed how stock truck runs it but I took everything apart cause im going to re route everything probably inside under the dash or on the left corner of the engine bay

Default A little help, please...

I'm actually looking to see if anyone can tell me if I could replace the oem block on a 2007 wk with one from an 08. I'm going nuts, lol. It looks like there's no information.....

You might be better off checking with an actual Jeep forum for what you want. This forum is totally about LS engine swapping.
