Lsx iroc z Does anyone have iroc with a stock ls1 or ls2 swap can tell me the 1/4 mile time.I often see people swap engines in older cars and can't keep up with the car the motor came out of.

stock ls1 pull out in the iroc should net 13.3-12.8 depending on driving, traction and trans/gears
often people say the third gen is faster because its lighter than the 4th gen the ls1 came from, although this is technically true its not much lighter. maybe 100lbs more if your using a base model and is easily offset my how well the other person drives
when mine was stock ls1 with a t56 3.70 gears I was able to squeak into 12's a couple times but most of my runs were in the 13.1 range even a couple 13.5's as you see 6-speeds can net fast times but you loose consistency and it takes a better driver not just dumping the clutch and smashing gears
