Regarding the header, there's no need for photo's. I figured out the issue.
I looked back over this thread, and early on you did mention the CPP steering box used is smaller than stock.
The other problem I discovered that will be unique for my right-hand drive vehicle, is that the left and right exhaust ports on the LS are offset. The ports on the right side of the vehicle are about 20mm forward compared to the left. That's why the Hooker headers don't clear on my car. The headers on the left are 20mm back, given them enough clearance (as designed) of the steering box on your left-hand drive vehicle.

Amazing build!!! Just beautiful. Can you provide a few pics of the lower windshield area where the trim clips go? My car was taken apart years ago, and there are no holes for attaching the clips. Trying to figure out exactly where they go. Thanks so much!!!

Hello I'm also doing a fuel tank conversion for EFI and I was wondering where you got the ring that you welded on the tank for the lock ring to spin on. Is that a new one or did you cut one out of an old tank?

Been a couple of years since posting about this "Beater"....... The car has been absolutely trouble free except for a Alternator going bad..... 38,000 miles of great driving across the country in various Road Tours...... So, yesterday I went out to the Drag strip to watch friends race and at the last minute I decided to just run it down the track..... Had the trunk loaded and just left everything in and ran it down the track....... 12.53 @ 114 mph with a 2.1 second 60' time....... LOL.... These engines are crazy...... and I get 23 MPG on the highway.....Awsum for a street car

Glad to see you post about the car again. What were the gears and tranny again? It’s hard to remember with so many builds after the years. Break time on my phone doesn’t help to scroll through the thread either. LOL

Emptied out the trunk and drove the car out to the drag strip today....... Cool weather...... Just made one pass and spun the tires off the line but with a 2.05 60' time I went 12.23 @ 115........ LS engines Rock !!!!!!!
