Default 475 RWHP G35 Finished

Well just finished getting the car tuned, still a few small kinks to work out but runs great. LS2 with T56. Heads/Cam/Full bolt ons. 419 torq. Thanks to a great tune the car feels solid and will add just a fast 102 and call it a day. I'm sure I can get over 500 after. Still no new track numbers. Waiting on new dual pass rad and adding a surge tank to get the temp lower. Also making a return fuel system and changing pump config to help with fueling issues.

Damn that is a tight fit.

That should be one HELL of a fun ride tho.
Did you guys fabricate frame mounts and engine mounts??
What trans did you end up using the T-56 or TR6060 ??

awesome!! Hope to save some cash this year so i can start collecting my swap parts as well.

question though now that you are done.

I know you used a GTO motor and traanny, and so do most others. Is there any reason in particular as to why other than cost? Do you beleive the other 6.0 lsx motors would work with their different accessories setup? Also do you think the other t56's will work? I know the GTO/fbody etc all have a slightly different shift section on the transmission. Just never seen anyone say why or why not other drop outs would work...

I do have PS and the AC lines are ready. Haven't put them in due to getting my new rad today and didn't want to have to recharge the lines. I do run the T56 and its best since it can handle the power coming out of the motor. The stock G35 trans isn't to my liking. Also you would have to build some adapter and whatnot. I'll be leaving for work for two weeks here and when I get back I'll get some new track numbers. I do think that you can run other 6.0 config. in this swap. I like the GTO setup the best since the AC and Alt are lower and out of the way but they both would fit.

Nice work, VERY clean swap. Interested to see how she drives daily and MPG along with the obligatory track numbers. Awesome, awesome build. Whose mounts/kit did you use?

Definitely a clean build/swap. Also in for more details on the motor setup. Building an LS2 as we speak!
