Cool 32 Ford 3 Window Coupe w/ Lq4

I am posting up another conversion that I am doing that I thought you guys would like to see. It is a 32 ford 3 window coupe with a 3 inch chop. I am running a full fender kit so it has been a challenge to get everything to fit inside the hood/frame. The body is still being painted. I am running an LQ4 with a 4L60e tranny. Just thought I would see what you think about it so for.

Looks good so far. Did you paint the engine in the frame? Seems like the hard way to do it.

It wasn't that hard to do. I didn't feel like pulling it again and it was easier to mask and tape. No biggie since the body was off the chassis.

I think so. This is going to be a daily driver. It will have A/C too. Need it here in AZ.

Looks like a fun project, especially for a daily. I would have rather pulled the engine to spray it than tape everything off.

One thing I have learned over the years is there are a ton of different ways to do something.

Looks like a fun project. Personally I would have pulled the motor and painted all the parts separately and left several parts unpainted. Natural aluminum would have contrasted nicely against that paint color, instead of everything one solid color. Just my .02

I know, I love the look of aluminum, but that is what the customer wanted and he is the one paying for it.

more work done today.

Body was from atlanta hot rods. A lot of bodywork had to go into this car. The fenders, hood, grill, trunk lid, doors, running boards, pretty much all the panels fit like crap. The body was okay. It wouldn't have been so bad if the customer did not want to run the fenders and run a high boy style car. We would have been done weeks ago with the bodywork and paint.

I agree with you also. Headlamps are in the wrong spot. There are a few things on this build that are questionable.
