Default ls1-s14

i'll start off by saying that i don't know anything about electrical configurations or layouts, so i need some help finalizing the last bit of my project.

the motor is in the car, and everything is tightened down. i just need to figure out how power gets from the battery to the starter to the fuse box. where do these things go?

1 is the positive wire that was used for the ka and runs into the fuse box
2 is the negative terminal for the ka that is grounded to the battery tray, and then has another tab further along. i'm assuming that end goes to the block?
3 is the ls1 positive terminal that is coming from the starter. do i need to merge this thing into the #1 cable?
4 and 5 are two wires that come from the ls1 positive battery terminal

this was just tapped to the ls1 starter cable. what do i attach it to? grounding wire?

1. Correct
2. Correct - block or frame rail should be fine
3. Correct
4 and 5. Alternator (+) and (-) possibly

are 3,4, and 5 part of the same bundle?

Alternator doesnt have a ground..it's mounted to the Block.

Black is ground, red is positive.

The Black Cable screws to the Battery, the longer portion to the side of the block, the shorter one put an end on it and run it to the side of the Fender.
I would also run a jumper from the Block ground to the Frame Rail.

The red one goes to 3 places.. it screws on the battery, then to the Starter, Alternator, and Fuse Box. Pretty much lay it out and make it fit with that.

4 looks like the Fuse Box connection, 5 is either the Starter or the Alternator..cant tell from this pic.
