Default ls1 gto wiring and ecu

new swap, new problems. i havent done this in about 2 years. another drift car ls1 build but this time i have ls1 gto 2004 motor, no harness, no Ecu.

Question:

1) can i use f-body ls1 harness and ecu?? finding ls1 gto wiring harness and ecu is proving harder than i thought.

2) if it i can, using ff-body accessories - power steering pump and alternator it should be plug and play?

thanks in advance

Yes, and yes, I am doing that very thing. In fact the 04 GTO alternator is different. 99 to 02 F-body harness and PCM are same....

Fbody harness will be fine

Fbody vs GTO accessories are different but still nearly interchangable. Pulley depth is the same, alt connector is different. Swap the connector or alt, your choice. AC is the only other accy with a connector and its identical

GTO used a green/blue PCM while the F-body used used a red/blue, O2s will be different as well. Go with the F-Body stuff.

You could use a truck harness and PCM with a few changes. As long as you stay within certain boundaries, its not too picky.
