Has anyone done a 5.3 swap into any of the variants of the Envoy/Trailblazer? I know they came stock with the engine, but whats involved with swapping from i6 to v8?

I think something has to be done about the front differential mounting. What about wiring and ecu? Gauges? Mounts? etc..

The front diff should be the same as the i6. It bolts to the TBSS oil pan just the same. However, the v8 trailblazer has a different frame as the i6 and the motor mount stands are different. May need to fab motor mounts. The gauges work the same as the i6.

Damn, different frame? That sucks. There was a sponsor on here that claimed to have done them, wonder how they did the mounts?
