Okay you got me , what is the advantage of being able to run a BBC water pump? Also where does the thermostat go now? Interesting but I guess you would need an entirely new pulley and bracket setup.

It is suppose to save you money if you want to run an electric water pump.
But you have to buy a remote mount thermostat housing.

It could save as far as mounting accessories too. What about running a mechanical pump, along with the electric drive. I think these are more geared for racing applications. But you could get away with running no thermostat by running like 2 -8 lines back to the radiator. This should be enough restiction to slow the water up for proper cooling. Ive ran a 353 cubic inch ford motor with no thermostat and had 2 lines exiting out of the head for years street driving with no problems,

I understand the BBC pumps are cheaper and easier to find. For me, possibly and you, the remote mount kit frees LS guys from the bullshit water outlet right beside the pulley. That thing is a nuisance at best but FI applications that run belts to drive the blowers have to either go around the water inlet meaning you have to pull the radiator hose at midnight on the side of the road with a hot as hell engine coolant explosion when you have to put another belt on. Then to top it off the antifreeze screws up all the pulleys. The alternative now is to run jackshafts and all other manner of BS things that are nearly impossible to stop from slipping. In our case, with the cogs, you don't have the issues I do. If I lose a belt then it is likely that I will lose the radiator hose that is less than a half inch away from it.

You don't necessarily need that with the procharger, but I just get wood everytime I look at the setup. I am going to a remote mount vice the BBC water pump adapter.

yeah i think its what Id do for an EWP, because the comparable meziere option is 650.

less $ for the pump, more room for accessories, same flow, noted reliability, plus i saw it in gmhtp...
