Default Shortening oil pick-up tube.

Since the CTS pan I bought isn't working out I cut a truck pan and found a local guy to reweld it for me. It turned out great.

So before screw this up, how did you guys remove the business end of the oil pick-up tube?

Pics if ya got 'em.

Thanks in advance for any help you throw my way.

(Yes the CTS-V pan, windage tray and pick-up are for sale.)

Cut and weld the tube, dont mess with the screen. Easiest to set the depth prior to having the pan's new floor welded on

I used a truck pan on my rx7 and had it cut shorter and the pickup tube also. I had a local shop do it because it was before we got our tig welder.
